Job Description

Mainmark is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to take ownership of the end-to-end learning lifecycle, from needs analysis through to delivery and continuous improvement.

This is a newly created, hands-on role where you will work closely with leaders across Operations, Technical, Sales, and People & Culture, to identify competency requirements and gaps. You will develop high-quality and practical learning resources, deliver engaging face-to-face and online training, and ensure training and competency records are accurate and up to date.

This role suits someone who enjoys translating technical or operational knowledge into clear, practical learning and who is comfortable working across multiple stakeholder groups.

 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assess training and competency requirements across Operations and Sales roles.
  • Design and develop fit-for-purpose, competency-based digital and blended learning resources.
  • Deliver training including inductions, refresher programs, and role-specific learning.
  • Support practical, on-the-job and competency-based learning where required.
  • Maintain training records, schedules, and reporting in the company’s HRIS and intranet.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery.

 What We Are Looking

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or a relevant tertiary qualification).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and delivering adult learning, ideally in a technical, trade, or operational environment.
  • Experience delivering training to diverse employee groups.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and systems management skills.
  • A genuine passion for learning, coaching, and helping people grow.
  • Are genuinely passionate about learning, coaching and helping people grow.

 Additional Requirements

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Current Driver Licence.
  • Willing to travel across Australia and internationally as needed.
